About
ILS Track
We are a specialized training provider dedicated to preparing and supporting staff who deliver Independent Living Skills (ILS) services through Alta California Regional Center and other regional centers throughout California. Our mission is to equip ILS professionals with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation necessary to provide high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence and community integration.
Our training programs are designed to meet the standards and expectations of regional center service delivery, with a strong emphasis on practical application in real-world settings. We provide comprehensive instruction in key areas such as person-centered planning, adaptive skill development, documentation and compliance, behavioral support strategies, professional boundaries, and cultural competency.
We focus on preparing staff to effectively teach and model essential independent living skills, including money management, transportation, health and safety, communication, and community access. Our approach combines evidence-based practices with hands-on training to ensure staff are confident, capable, and responsive to the unique needs of each individual served.
In addition to initial onboarding, we offer ongoing training and professional development to ensure staff remain current with regulatory requirements, best practices, and evolving client needs. Our goal is to strengthen the quality of ILS services by building a well-trained workforce that upholds dignity, promotes independence, and delivers measurable outcomes.
